Rita is the Director and founder of Home Care Experts, and a registered nurse whose clinical career spans hospital settings, complex care, and disability support. She established Home Care Experts with a clear purpose: to create a provider that could deliver the kind of high-quality, clinically grounded care that she knew participants deserved but so rarely received.

Having worked across acute hospital environments and in the community, Rita witnessed firsthand the gaps that existed when participants transitioned out of clinical settings and into the NDIS. She saw what happened when nursing knowledge was absent from care decisions, when discharge planning was poorly coordinated, and when complex participants were handed to providers without the clinical capability to truly support them. Home Care Experts was her answer to those gaps.

As Director, Rita sets the clinical and strategic direction of the organisation. Her nursing background is not simply a credential on a wall; it shapes every policy, every care plan framework, and every conversation her team has with hospital discharge planners, treating specialists, and allied health professionals. When a hospital team needs to communicate clinical handover requirements, they are speaking with a fellow nurse.

Rita is deeply committed to building an organisation where quality is not a compliance exercise but a genuine standard that every team member understands and upholds. She leads from the front, remaining clinically connected and accessible to her team, to participants, and to the families who trust Home Care Experts with some of the most important moments of their lives.

Outside of her clinical and leadership work, Rita is passionate about mentoring nurses entering the disability sector, advocating for better recognition of complex care in the NDIS, and building a team culture where every person, participant or staff member, feels seen, respected, and valued.
